This is the work version of me. The resu-me if you will (told you I liked bad puns)

Associate Creative Director at Razorfish (May 2023-present)

Managed creative teams and led campaign development for everything from push notifications to Super Bowl commercials.

Lead Copywriter at BDA (October 2022-May 2023)

Led a massive website overhaul and managed client social media accounts. Wore hats ranging from creative director and social strategist to product copywriter and community manager.

Writer/Carpenter/Farmer at Workaway (July 2021-October 2022)

Took some time off to volunteer and travel the world. Got to build a greenhouse, plant cover crops, feed chickens, protect the kitchen from monkeys, and write about some of the most beautiful places in the world.

Creative Director at Homakase (May 2020-May 2022)

Launched my own sushi business in my backyard. When I wasn’t serving as the waitress, sake sommelier, and dishwasher, I was creating a unique brand voice and building a social content strategy.

Associate Creative Director at DDB (July 2019-July 2021)

Wrote copy for everything from cancer drugs to cat food. Served as an integral member of the party planning committee (I’d consider myself more of a Phyllis than an Angela).

Copywriter at NBCUniversal (April 2018-May 2019)

Created custom content featuring NBCU talent. Produced videos and digital campaigns for big-name brands like Microsoft, Walmart, and Amazon. No, I can’t get you tickets to SNL.

Copywriter at Arnold Worldwide (June 2015-April 2018)

Came up with thousands of ideas, wrote copy for hundreds, presented dozens, and ended up with a handful of actual produced pieces. Majored in healthcare brands and minored in Hershey’s candy.

Freelance writer/content editor at petinsider.com (February 2017-December 2017)

Lived out my dream of getting paid to write about dogs. Wrote articles and built the social media following from the ground up.

Advertising Sales Representative at The Daily Orange (August 2014-May 2015)

Sold ad space in the Syracuse University newspaper to local business owners. Learned that I do not want to be an Ad Sales Rep.

Graphic Designer at The Syracuse Silver Knights (September 2012-May 2013)

Created promotional materials for a professional soccer team. Learned that I do not want to be a Graphic Designer.

Waitress at Various Eating and Drinking Establishments (2010-2014)

Multitasked, helped maintain the brand image, convinced people to buy things they didn’t need, and dealt with very, very difficult clients. These 4 years were arguably my best training for a career in advertising.
