CHALLENGE: Create a sushi catering business to keep myself sane during a global pandemic.
SOLUTION: Meet Homakase, a sustainable omakase experience in our home or yours. I served as the creative director, social strategist, community manager, sake sommelier, and waitress for our 200+ events.
I created a brand book that outlined the brand mission, tone, and look. I analyzed the current omakase market and developed a voice that felt distinct in the space.
I organized a content shoot and used Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create this hype video for our launch on Instagram.
I created a content calendar that featured a mix of evergreen content and seasonal posts. I leveraged strategic hashtags on Instagram to propel our account to over 1,000 followers with $0 in paid media spend.
I maintained a consistent brand voice that entertained and educated. I used our platform to teach people how to eat seafood sustainably.
